The quartet was formed in Sept 2006 to celebrate the music of Sara’s late father, the great pianist and composer, Ron Littlefield.
The tunes are all his original compositions written in an impressionistic vein ranging from lilting waltzes with angular melodies to richly harmonic pieces with unexpected resolutions.
